Shop Assistant
Exciting News! We are Hiring! We are looking for a dynamic personality to join our team. A highly motivated and hard worker with skills in delivering quality customer service as well as taking an outstanding initiative in problem solving and getting things done . A description of the following job duties include but are not limited to:
Handling flowers with proper care and continuously changing out the flower bar and making sure it looks presentable at all times.
Flower wraps and bouquet making (training available)
Greeting customers and assisting with help if needed.

Merchandise handling and stocking. Taking notes when inventory is low. Making sure all items have a price tag.
Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. This will included cleaning of buckets, floors, flower care, retails fixtures, machines, vases, buckets, the cooler and much more.
Cash handling and Learning of our Point of Sale system. Taking phone orders and keeping track of all online orders.

Open and closing shifts. Weekends mandatory and holidays.
Some flower and plant knowledge (we can help teach some basics in training).

You will be expected to learn the names of flowers and plants. Assist with customers on knowledge of plants and flowers.
Plant Care:
You will be responsible for taking care of plants daily. Checking soil and water levels. Pricing out accordingly and displaying properly.
Additional information:
-Must be 18 or older to apply
-Weekends are mandatory. This is non negotiable. We need someone here on the weekends to cover shifts where we leave for weddings and events.
-Hours may vary but can be up to 24 hours/week for part time
-Flower shop experience is welcomed but not mandatory for position.
